Marisa Joy Williams, but I go my Joy I was born in Tucson, Arizona, raised in Detroit, MI, and currently reside in West Bloomfield, MI. My Current major is Early Childhood Education We are Zee Best and Z-Phinest. All others wish they had what we do. We Exude Style and Grace; our Finerwomanhood, no one can replace. We don't claim things that are not ours, and we didn't make the wrong decision. We don't have to try to get into Sigmaland, we are welcomed. So my Sorors hold your head up and be proud, do your Z-Phi out Loud. Let everyone you know, who you are, because Zeta Phi Beta is Z-Phinest by far! I am a very proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. A lot people ask me why I became a member of the Greatest Sorority on the Planet. The Reasons are too many to name on this page. But I will give the general idea. I always wanted to be a part of a sorority. When I got to college, I knew the choices that everyone was told, so I started to do my research on them. My sophomore year, the Zetas came back on campus. At Up the Orgs day, I went to the table to get information, and I knew right then I wanted to be a Zeta. The way the Zetas handled themselves, and the way they spoke to my entire group of friends was amazing. I loved the fact that they had brothers, and were proud of it. Zetas are God-Fearing women, and we realize that everything we do should be pleasing in God's eyes. There were so many things that made me love Zeta before I joined, but after I did, it increased 100000000 fold. The friends that I have made, the women that I now call Sister and the men that I now call Brother, are something I would never change. I truly believe that I was meant to see that table when and with whom I did. Zeta has changed my life in so many ways, and made it better in so many different aspects, that it would be foolish to not think that God had something to do with my decision. Every organization has it's fine points, and every member of every other Historically Black Greek Lettered Organization feels that their org is the best one out there. I am no different, but to me, I think Zeta is different because we pride ourselves in our Love of God, service, and the diversity in our Organization!
