Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Student Leadership Institute (SLI) and the Annie T. Thornton Women’s Leadership Conference (ATWLC)?
The SLI is a component of the ATWLC. During each session time of the conference, several programs will be designated as part of the SLI. It is our belief that all sessions, whether designated as part of the ATWLC or as part of the SLI, can be beneficial to students.
Can anyone attend the Student Leadership Institute?
The SLI is open to anyone, but its sessions are targeted towards the undergraduate student population. Both men and women are encouraged to attend.
How do I register for the Student Leadership Institute?
Students interested in the Student Leadership Institute just need to register for the conference; no pre-registration is necessary for the Student Leadership Institute.
The 9th annual ATWLC will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010.
