Feedbacks
Hi everyone,
Hope that you had great sleeps after a long trip.
We had great time together and this trip is an unforgettable for
me personally.
Thanksgiving is the time we say thank you to people and
ourselves. Let's practice it :)
We would like to say thank to Fuji, our president and the
"driver" in the whole trip. We can not image how this trip was
without him. We know he must be the most tired man in this trip.
Hope that you had a really great sleep yesterday, Fuji. (please
clap your hand if you appreciate him :))
We also say thank to Keiko, a great map reader. Without her, we
may get lost several times. (please clap your hand if you
appreciate her :))
And also Cindy who was known as a mediator. When we had
problems, she was always willing to negociate (please clap your
hand :D)
Ed Timko, the only American guy in our trip. From him, we know
more about American history (clap hands, you guys :P)
Finally, great thanks to all of you who made this trip become
special and unforgettable.
We also say sorry to Mengshu who had great material lost (she
will never see her two clothes bag again:( ) and Shang who had
spiritual lost (he waited so long at the Holocaust Museum and
had a great journey at Georgetown during his "getting lost"
time).
Now, it's time to look at pictures to remind about time we was
in Washington D.C, a beautiful city of America. http://campus.udayton.edu/~udic/interest.htm
Three weeks before Christmas. Hope you have a wonderful time and
good luck for your final exams
Sincerely,
BV Nguyen
Hello,
I feel that I must second BV's letter of thanks. I had a
marvelous time and I feel that if I had gone to Washington DC
with any group other than the International Club, the experience
would not have been any where as enlightening or as enriching.
My sincerest thanks go out to all the members who could join us
on this trip.
Special thanks are due, of course, to Fuji for acting as our
sole and most knowledgeable driver.
I also must give special thanks to Emily for her exceptional
patience in holding a conversation with me, despite my complete
inability to speak Chinese.
Lastly, but not least, I must give thanks to both BV and
Keiko for their hard work in organizing this wonderful trip, in
securing the hotels, and in obtaining the reservations for
Thanksgiving dinner at Union Station.
I hope you have all enjoyed the trip as much, if not more, than
I.
Edward
Hello all,
I just want to give thanks to you all. During the trip, i felt
like i was living really near to my family. I received the
warmth from those who are already my friends and from those who
have just become my friends from the trip
I'm really glad because, from this trip, we shared and treasured
many sweet memories with each other. I wish all of you a merry
merry Christmas and please do well in your final exam
Thank you very much,
Hong-vy Nguyen

International Festivals - February 23, 2007
-
Location: KU Ballroom.
-
Our biggest event for the year. Held
sometime in winter semester, the International Festival takes over
the KU Ballroom and turns it into a collection of sights, sounds,
smells and even tastes from around the world.
-
Entertainment: From Belly dancing to
Celtic dancing, to Spanish folk songs. Groups from on campus and
around Dayton will be performing during the festival.
-
Cultural Booths: Tables set up around
the Ballroom allow for a closer look at the countries that make up
UD's foreign student population
-
Food: One of the best parts of the
festival, come hungry and try something very different from
cafeteria food, etc.
