With the purpose that to create an friendly environment where American students and International students can meet and share cultural tradition, UDIC was established in 2002-2003. The Club provides many interesting activities: from small activities such as potlucks where students can enjoy international foods made by their peers, to larger activities such as trips to many states around America, coffee hours where students can gather together to share their experiences in other cultures. We also have big events such as setting table and creating fun games in Christmas on Campus event (in December) and International Festival (in March) every year. The club encourage students to get involved and having fun with us.

Our Mission:

The UD International Club was formed to provide opportunities for interaction and communication between the overseas students, and the University of Dayton community:

  • To aid the new International students in making the transition to college life at the University of Dayton
  • To work with the Administration in addressing special problems for overseas students, either on individual or collective basis
  • To develop an intellectual aspect in its members through intellectual and social means
  • To develop and encourage mutual understanding and sensitivity to the cross-cultural experiences

International Club currently has more than one hundred members which consists of students from America, European, Asia and Middle East.

This year, the Club also works with International Learning Living Community on the event called Coffee Hours (to know about Coffee Hours, please go to Events. We also encourage members from both communities to participate in all of the events that we have.
