4/25: The Flyers will be traveling to Ohio University this weekend to take on the Bobcats in a three game series.

 

4/27: The Flyers traveled to Athens, Ohio to take on Ohio University this weekend. Although their loss knocked them out of contention for the league title, they did win the series 2-1. Rookie Jimmy Sharpf had a big start in game 1, in which he pitched a complete game, giving up only 3 runs on 6 hits over 7 innings. Johnny Kontak led offensive players with 4 singles, a double, 2 walks, 5 runs scored and an RBI (.455 BA).

 

6/28: Congratulations to the three Flyers who made the Great Lake Region All-Region Team. Shortstop John Joyce once again made 2nd Team, and was accompanied this year by pitchers Patrick Stands, and Kyle Brady
