Accounts & Passwords

When you first arrive at the University of Dayton, either as a new student or a new faculty/staff member, you are given a unique username and a randomized password. This username and intial password provide access to Novell/LDAP, Lotus Notes Client, and Lotus Notes Internet. Your initial password is typically 8 characters in length.

Typically, your username will not change, but your password may be changed numerous times. For more information on changing your password, visit Change My Password.

New user accounts generally are created within 2 business days of registering for a class, or in the case of a faculty/staff member, within 2 business days of HR fully processing your paperwork.
