Hi, I'm Eric, a senior in Chemical Engineering at UD. This will be my second year as President of the Ohio Theta Chapter at UD. If I'm not in Kettering Labs, I'll be in the ChemE design studio or preparing for my black belt test at the Rec. I love playing the Saxophone and am a brother of PMA. I'm a big fan of the student neighborhood ("Ghetto"), and like to read and play Xbox in my spare time.
I am currently a senior Chemical Engineering major. I grew up in Englewood, OH and graduated from Northmont High School in 2007. I joined TBP in October 2009 and this is my first semester as corresponding secretary for TBP. I'm also a member of the Society of Women Engineers. I enjoy running and working out. I love watching sports and enjoy playing/coaching soccer! I listen to all kinds of music and my Ipod is the most random assortment of music ever. I love watching movies and have been to 4 midnight premiers this summer. I love UD and I don't ever want to leave and enter the "real world."
This is my first semester as recording secretary for Tau Beta Pi though I have been a member since 2007. I am a fifth year computer engineering student with a minor in computer science. I just finished up my fifth co-op term at UDRI where I work in the Structural Integrity Division doing work with residual stress in shot-peened materials. I am also the president of Eta Kappa Nu (Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor Society) and have been since late 2008 when we decided to reactive the chapter. When I graduate in May of 2011 I plan to find a job in the area of biomedical or computer engineering.
Hi, I am Joe Klein and I am a senior Computer Engineer here at UD. This is my first year as Treasurer for Tau Beta Pi. I was born and raised in Blacklick OH, which is on the east side of Columbus. I enjoy playing just about any sport - especially soccer. I usually play indoor soccer in the winter, outdoor soccer in the summer, and whichever UD intramural sports happen to be in season. I have been backpacking twice and love to do that whenever I get the chance. Over the past three summers, I have worked at LSI ADL Technology Inc. and J. P. Morgan Chase and Co.
I am a junior chemical engineering student. I am from the Cleveland area. I am currently the treasurer of Tau Beta Pi, as well as the treasurer of the Fantasy and Science Fiction Appreciation Club. I plan to graduate in May 2011, and do not yet know whether I plan to go to graduate school after graduation. My interests outside of school include baseball (I am a huge Cleveland Indians fan), science fiction (especially Star Trek), mythology, video games, and chess. My favorite food is shrimp scampi, and my favorite drink is IBC Root Beer.
My name is Julia Faeth and am a Senior in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Energy and Sustainability. I grew up in New Riegel, Ohio, a very small town near Findlay. When I'm not busy with homework or studying, I enjoy dancing (ballroom, modern, hip hop and others), reading, playing piano and shopping. If anyone is interested in learning how to ballroom dance, let me know! During the summers I've worked for Battelle, Marathon, and Findlay Machine and Tool Inc. I also work at UDRI, conducting thesis work on methods of measuring the lipid production of various algae species.
I am currently a senior year working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. Upon graduation I plan to go to graduate school to get my PhD. in Biomedical Engineering. I grew up in Miamisburg, Ohio, which is a suburb of Dayton. I joined TBP in the Fall of 2009 and this is my first role on the exec board! I'm also the President of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and Treasurer of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) for the 2010-2011 school year. In my free time I like to work-out, listen to music, do sudoku puzzles, and sleep!
