Mission:

(1) To create an awareness of the need to serve the poor

(2) To provide new life into the Society

The students serve in a variety of different ways - serving dinners at the St. Vincent de Paul Hotel, organizing food collections, participating in home visits with conferences throughout the Dayton area, watching children at the battered women's shelter while the mothers attend classes, tutoring children, and much more.

The students share their experiences with the group in an effort to extend the learning beyond the traditional classroom atmosphere. Each year, the club recruits a sizable group of first year students who are interested in serving the needy and who find this type of service meaningful and rewarding.
