| New Student Orientation 2008 |
|
We look forward to welcoming new students to UD from August 16-19, 2008! In 2008, the new in New Student Orientation will take on new meaning. As always, a main focus of NSO is welcoming new students into our community at the University of Dayton. Our Marianist heritage encourages us to remember that welcoming others well is foundational to building and sustaining the community we value so highly at UD. We’re familiar with that sense of the word new in New Student Orientation, but in 2008, new is equally important in describing our approach to orientation. Expect new things. Not only new students, but a new program. A new time frame that extends our orientation program into the first six weeks of the semester. New ideas. New energy and passion. New leadership. The program of NSO 2008 will focus on three areas that are essential to helping new students develop a sense of home at UD: academic engagement, quality relationships, and passionate purpose. NSO 2008 will cover all three areas in depth as we welcome new students to the UD community. Read more about the program’s focus. |
