Ohio State Law Prohibits:
- The purchase, possession or
consumption of alcoholic beverages by any person under the age of 21 or
buying it for or furnishing it to such a person.
- The sale, distribution or
dispensing of alcoholic beverages to any person under the age of 21.
- The sale or dispensing of
alcoholic beverages to any person who is intoxicated or who appears to
be intoxicated.
- The use of a falsified
driver's permit or other identification or to misrepresent his/her age
in any way for the purpose of obtaining alcoholic beverages.
- The operation of any type of
vehicle, whatsoever, while under the influence of alcohol or drugs of
abuse or any combination thereof.
- The consumption of alcoholic
beverages in a motor vehicle.
- The obtainment, possession
or use of any controlled substance.
The maximum penalties for the
underage purchase, possession, consumption or reckless use of alcoholic
beverages is six months imprisonment and a fine of $1,000. As listed,
