Advisor– Raul Ordonez

I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, but lived most of my early life in Quito. I received my B.S.E.E. degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, Monterrey, México, in 1994, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University in 1996 and 1999, respectively. I try to spend some time in non-engineering activities. The classical guitar is my favorite hobby, as well as learning Japanese and languages in general. Recently, I have also started doing amateur astronomy with a 250 mm Dobsonian telescope. I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Dayton.
