Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under the age of 18 with medical hair loss. The organization, which began in 1997, has helped over 1000 children since its first year of operation.   http://www.locksoflove.org

 

Locks of Love Cut-A-Thon is back!

Need a haircut? How ‘bout a FREE one while changing someone’s life? PLEASE consider participating in the 2008 LOL Cut-A-Thon!

 

Cut date: Monday, March 3, 2008 from 11 am – 2 pm

Hair ONLY needs to be SIX inches long and  CAN be highlighted or colored!

The hair will be cut and layered free of charge on the official cut date.
The salon is located close enough to campus to walk, or transportation can
be provided.

 

Sign ups during the month of February in KU Food Court or Lobby during the hours of 11a-2pm
