This past week the University of Dayton Men's Rugby Team invaded the great city of Saint Louis (as well as the Burns' family house). The entire trip was a great success with the Flyers defeating the Billiken's 8-5 off a try by hooker Tom Lehner and kick by fullback Matt Cable.

Lehner scored the first points of the match after a SLU penalty. Lehner quick tapped the ball and dove in for a dramatic try. Cable made a 40 meter kick to put UD ahead 8-0. A late try by Saint Louis would make the score 8-5 which would also be the final score. SLU had several chances but strong try line defense by UD's dominate pack helped secure the win.

Aside from the match UD Rugby would like to send a sincere thanks Mr. and Mrs. Burns. They not only allowed twenty some ruggers to take over there house for two nights; but they also treated us to pizza, bagels, steaks, and breakfast.

It is also important for UDRFC to thank Saint Louis Rugby for their hospitality after the game as well later that night. SLU Rugby knows how to have a good time.
