II.
ACTIVITIES
---Hunger Awareness Week: Various
events will be taking place. We
will be collecting canned goods to put in a Thanksgiving basket for a needy
family. Drop off any donations at
431 College Park, or in the SGA Office, KU 233 with Jacki’s name on them by Wed, Nov.20.
---Adopt-A-Street: We
will be cleaning Chambers Street Sat,
Nov.23 at 7:30 a.m. We know
it’s early, but please come!! Doughnuts
and juice will be provided. E-mail
Jacki if you can make it.
---Pet Therapy:
Take puppies and kittens from SICSA, a pet adoption center, to nursing
homes and let the residents pet them and play with them and talk with residents.
The next visit is scheduled for Nov.24.
Cathy will be sending an
e-mail and just reply to her if you want to go.
---Dance Marathon: We
have 4 dancers signed up. Do we
want to participate as a group helping out with food?
---COC: Poinsettias?
---Save-A-Life Saturday: CPR
and 1st Aid class on campus on a Saturday in March, Red Cross Month.
Last year, we had about 25 participants, and we had a great time!
This year we are aiming for 50 people, so we will need your help!! Since it’s not until March we won’t be really working on
it until next semester, but keep your eyes out for more information around
January.

---Service Hours for
this semester are outstanding!!!
---35 members have
participated, the total service hours are 137.5, and the average hours per
member is 5.09!!! GREAT JOB
EVERYONE!! :):)
IV.
ELECTIONS
---
Robb is the only officer not
graduating in May, so he will remain President (or Co-President if anyone wants
to help take on that responsibility)
---We need a
Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations, and Pet Therapy Chair... also, a Scrubby
Bear Chair would be good too.
---We will still be
helping the new officers out next semester, and then you’re on your own!
