Mission

The mission of UD Campus Recreation Outdoor Adventures programs is to provide the students the opportunity to experience outdoor sporting activities in a manner which is consistent with the Marianist tradition at the university. These are activities that the UD students may not otherwise be able to experience, because of UD's geographic location.

The programs which are offered are the Steamboat Springs, CO ski trip at the end of fall semester, a whitewater rafting trip to West Virginia in the fall semester, and the RecPlex has the new climbing wall in the facility, which offers training and certification classes on the wall.

These programs are designed to help to challenge a person physically, mentally and spiritually and help the person grow.
