First Floor

Main Gym is a 4 court gym (28,800 sq. ft). The end court has baskets that can be lowered to approximately 8 ft. The Gym has electronic score boards for all 4 courts and divider curtains between all courts.

Aquatic center consists of three areas. The competition pool is a 25 yard, 8 lane pool. Two of the lanes are 4 ft deep, with the other 6 lanes at 7 ft deep. A 35 ft diameter, 4 ft deep leisure area Vortex Leisure Pool, and a 12 ft diving well with a 1 meter diving board are attached to the competition pool. There is also an 8 person Spa.

The climbing wall sits at approximately 30 feet. It is suited for all types of climbers with the availability of belay, lead, and boulder climbing. All climbers must pass a skills class that is offered several times throughout the year.

Multi-Activity Courts (MAC) Gym is a 2 court gym with a synthetic surface and a dasher board system between the 2 courts.

Take a break from working out and enjoy a healthy snack offered at “The Chill.” The Chill is operated by UD Dining Services and provides a healthy alternative for snacks and drinks.

Equipped with state of the art multimedia, the large classroom is available by reservation only.

The small classroom, also referred to as the wet classroom, is located directly off of the pool deck. The classroom is equipped with a TV, VCR, and DVD system. The classroom is available by reservation only.

The racquetball courts are located inside the Main Gym. Two courts are available for reservations, while the third court is reservation for only squash and Wally ball.

The studio is used for Campus Recreation activities, including Sport Club practices. Studio is available by reservation only.

Various pieces of equipment are available for checkout including: basketballs, indoor and outdoor volleyballs, indoor and outdoor soccer balls, footballs, tennis equipment, racquetball equipment, and jump ropes. Patrons must present their UD ID or membership ID in order to checkout and check in equipment.

The locker rooms are equipped with individual shower stalls, vanity area, full length day use lockers, and 200 lockers that are available for rental on an annual basis.

The family changing area is located directly adjacent to the MAC Gym in the hallway leading to the Aquatic Center.
