What: A Men’s and Women's 5-on-5 Regional Basketball Tournament. Open to all university or college affiliated intramural teams. Any intramural team can participate.
Prize Package: Regional Champions qualify for a prize package to the 2008 ACIS Basketball National Championship hosted by North Carolina State University April 25 – April 27, 2008.
Where: Dayton, Ohio is located in the Southwest part of the state, roughly one hour West of Columbus and one hour North of Cincinnati. The University is located approximately two miles south of the downtown area. The RecPlex, which opened in January 2006, is a state of the art recreation facility located in the heart of the University community.
When: The weekend of March 28 – March 30. Be prepared to play games on Friday evening. There will also be a captain’s meeting Friday evening, which is mandatory for all team captains to attend. Captain’s meeting is Friday, March 28, 2008 at 5:30 PM.

Tournament Format: All teams are guaranteed 3 games. First round games are pool play. All teams will advance to a single elimination tournament. Pool play will begin Friday, March 28 at 7:00 PM.
Registration: Complete the team roster and player liability
waiver and send it to the address below along with your entry fee. This
information may also be faxed. If you choose to fax your roster, the
entry fee must be received by 4pm Friday, March 21, 2008 to secure your
spot. There are a limited number of spots so get your information in
early. The roster must include the signature of the institution's
Intramural Director verifying the player
roster meets eligibility requirements.

Required: All teams must have light and dark colored jerseys with numbers on front and back. All team members must present a valid school ID card at each game.

Eligibility Requirements:

All teams may be Intramural Champions or teams designated by their respective institutions from any two [2] or four [4] year university.

Teams representing military installations are also eligible to compete, with all members of these teams consisting of persons that are assigned to that respective military installation.

Faculty/Staff members of a respective institution are allowed to compete for that institution if that institution's intramural program policies permit such action in the course of operating their program on their respective campus.

Alumni are not allowed to represent an institution regardless of any institution's intramural program policies permitting such action in the course of operating their program on their respective campus.
- Each member of a team must meet the following:
- Must be a currently enrolled student or presently employed by the representing institution
- Must represent the same institution
- May not be a current member of a Varsity team or played Varsity the preceding academic year in related activity (including red-shirts)
- Cannot have been a professional in related activity

All other eligibility rules are governed by the representing institution’s intramural program.
The Intramural Director must sign off on the team roster verifying that the team members meet the above stated criteria!
