The department welcomes Dr. Robert Crutcher, from the Metropolitan State College of Denver, and Dr. Susan Davis, from Loras College in Iowa, as our newest full-time faculty members. (April, 2001)

The department also welcomes, again, Dr. Melissa Cahoon who received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 1998. Dr. Cahoon is serving another one-year appointment with the department. (April, 2001)

Dr. F. Thomas Eggemeier has been appointed Associate Dean for the Sciences and Social Sciences (April, 2001) and will serve in a part-time capacity in the psychology department.

Dr. David Biers assumes the position of department chair effective May 15, 2001. (April, 2001)

Drs. Ken Graetz, Don Polzella, and Greg Elvers received a $200,000 grant from the Pew foundation for the re-design of the Introduction to Psychology course. (August, 2000)

Dr. Roger Reeb has been promoted to Associate Professor. (August, 2000)

Dr. Lane Geddie joins the department having recently taught at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina (August, 2000)

The Psychology Undergraduate Student Handbook (PUSH) has been (and continues to be) updated. (May, 2001)
