The
Department of Psychology at the University of Dayton
welcomes you to our homepage.
We are pleased to offer a quality education through innovative
teaching, active involvement of students in research,
and service to the community.
The department is housed in St. Joseph Hall,
a historic building reconstructed and modernized
in 1989 after a major fire. The main office of the
department is located in Room 329. Most
departmental offices for the 18 full-time and approximately
10 part-time faculty members are also found in St.
Joseph.
Please take the time
to look through our website, and use it as a reference
while you are a student in our program. I know it
will answer many of your questions and make your choice
of psychology as a major more rewarding. It is ultimately
your responsibility to make sure you are getting the
most from your education and following your degree
requirements. This website should contribute to that
effort.
We look forward to a meaningful and rewarding association
with you during your time as a psychology major.
Sincerely yours,
David W. Biers, Ph.D.
