Resume:

Donald Polzella is Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Graduate Programs in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Dayton. He is the former Raymond A. Roesch, S. M. Chair in the Social Sciences and holds the rank of Professor in the Department of Psychology. Polzella received his Ph.D. in experimental psychology from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 1974. He has published or presented, both here and abroad, on topics in psychology, ergonomics, statistics, computer science, and aesthetics. His work in the areas of aviation, information technology, electronic learning, and family literacy has been funded by public and private agencies. Polzella's current teaching and research interests focus on the history of psychology, cognitive science, environmental design, the psychology of the arts--primarily painting and music--and multimedia education.
