Welcome to the Eta Hexaton Chapter at The University of Dayton

Phi Sigma Kappa is a lifelong brotherhood dedicated to the betterment of the individual, the university community, and our world, by giving its members opportunities to develop leadership skills, participate in service to others, achieve academic excellence, experience cultural diversity and practice personal integrity.

Why a fraternity?  There are numerous benefits you will derive as a member of a national fraternity both during and after your college years.

Fraternity membership offers a unique experience in college living; being "Greek" offers an identity in the mass of thousands of students that attend UD. In addition, it offers opportunities for success in academic social, and athletic endeavors.

You will develop many acquaintances in college; you'll know each as members of the same class or having been on the football team together. Even without fraternity you may develop a few of these acquaintances into friendships. But true friendships evolve by sharing common experiences and challenges with others; whether it is on the athletic field, helping a brother with homework, preparing the house for an event or simply living under the same roof in harmony.

This microcosm of life we call fraternity creates a brotherhood of friendships that truly last a lifetime.

Fraternities serve a purpose not fulfilled by the University or by the dorms or by the apartments. It provides us, its members, with the opportunity to live and work together toward a common goal. Personal success in virtually all fields of endeavor requires the skills of living and working with others. Fraternities offer us the opportunities to develop these skills.

Now it is your turn. Your college experience will occur only once in your life. A fraternity experience will enrich your undergraduate years on campus, as well as offer you a common bond that will stay with you long after your college days are over.
