Service:
- Every fall,
Phi Sigma Rho, in conjunction with the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity,
hosts the annual Hopewalk to benefit the American Cancer Society.
Next year's date has yet to be determined, however for more information
contact Mandy Hampton or Nikki Woodward.
- Every spring,
Phi Sigma Rho now hosts a spaghetti dinner to benefit our advisor's
daughter who suffers from cerebral palsy. The money raised helps
pay for her new experimental treatments that are unable to be
covered by insurance. Thanks to all who made this past year's
a success!.
- Phi Sigma
Rho is also planning on becoming more involved in acting as leaders
and mentors for girl scout troops in the area. Two mondays every
month sisters mentor a local troop of girls by planning activities
and fun events for them.
- Phi Sigma
Rho also helps exercise animals at the local Humane Society in
Dayton.
- Along with
all these we also help lead the Women in Engineering Summer Camp
here at UD as well as offer tours around the engineering building
for prospective students.
