You can download entire folders of pictures here. The folders are compressed in the tar.gz format and contain medium resolution pictures. They are mostly 1600x900 and 1280x960 along with a few odd sizes too. Note that some pictures may be smaller because the originals were smaller to begin with. (i.e. original was 640x480. You will get it at 640x480 not 1280x960)

Are these too small? Well the originals are availible. You can download them individually by right-clicking and selecting "save link as". Or get firefox and install the downthemall extension.
