Bachelor of Science with a major in Mathematics (MTH) --
Description
in the Undergraduate Catalog The B.S. program in mathematics provides a foundation for students who wish to pursue graduate studies in any area of the mathematical sciences, to enter the actuarial profession, or to enter careers where mathematics is used in an engineering or science setting. Students must take a total of 42 credit hours in mathematics. MTH majors are also required to have minor (or second major). Required courses:
In addition, take 12 credit hours of MTH electives (300-400 level; consult your advisor - not every class is appropriate for the MTH degree).
