Undergraduate Mathematics Day
at the University of Dayton

Saturday November 1, 2003

An event to celebrate undergraduate mathematics in all forms - research, learning, teaching, history - and to provide an opportunity for undergraduate mathematicians to meet and network with more established mathematicians.

We invite undergraduate students to contribute papers to this conference.  We welcome contributed papers from high school students, first-year graduate students and faculty (secondary or post-secondary) with a proviso that all talks be geared to undergraduates.

The Fourth Annual Kenneth C. Schraut Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Robert Lewand, Goucher College, and a second invited address will be delivered by Chikako Mese, Connecticut College.

While there is no registration fee for the conference, we ask that you register if you would like to attend the conference or give a talk at the conference by Thursday October 23, 2003.

We gratefully acknowledge the generous support of The Mathematical Association of America (administering NSF Grant DMS-0241090), the Bro. Mann Chair of the Sciences at UD, the Department of Mathematics at UD.
