The University of
Dayton’s Hangar is located on the bottom floor of Kennedy
Union and is home to many popular attractions on campus.
Inside the Hangar is a food and drink stand, the Galley.
Here students can enjoy soft pretzels, ice cream and
milkshakes, sodas, and Boston Stokers coffee. The Hangar
offers 4 lanes for bowling, 6 pool tables, foosball, and
video games, including Pac Man, Golden Tee Golf, and Dance
Dance Revolution. Also available is an electronic Juke
Box.
In addition, there are
2 tables stationed by the entrance of the Hangar which
provide laptop hookups for students. There is a lounge
area that includes sofa chairs with a table, televisions,
and 4 computers for use by the campus community as well.
Outside the Hangar is a fire-pit that is turned on by
request only and with supervisory permission, with another
area for lounging and socializing. (No roasting in the pit
of any kind is permitted).
Reservations can be
made for lanes and tables for 5:00-8:00 pm Monday, Tuesday
and Wednesday only. Please contact the Director’s Office
at 229-3333 for more information regarding reservations.
