This page is a resource for officers and instructors to ensure activities critical to the club’s survival are accomplished. 

July

      Begin preparing for upcoming year school year.

      Prepare club posters

      Update Website.

      Update e-mail list.

      Complete updates to Gup Packet

August

      Get Dojang Scheduled for Weekday and Weekend classes.

      Coordinate schedules of instructors and returning club members for demos in late August and September.

      Get poster approved by Student Activities Office. 

o   Posters should be hung or delivered the week before students arrive.

o   Get Information on Website.

      Ensure paperwork for club recognition is submitted.

      Have a demonstration; preferably over several weekends in public outdoor places.

September

      Ensure club is represented at Up the Organizations day.

      Demonstrations continued from August.

      Beginner and advanced class schedule starts.

October

      Schedule testing date.

      Order uniforms.

      Have focused workout on improving a specific technique.

November

      Pre-testing accomplished.  Depending upon Thanksgiving and exams, pre-test might be in late November.

December

      Fall/winter gup testing before exams start.

      Reserve RecPLex for next semester.

      Ensure all members know next semester’s schedule.

January

      Get poster approved by Student Activities Office.  Posters should be hung or delivered the week before students arrive.

      Update Website.

      Notify Student Activities of Demonstrations to post on Flyer TV Channel (via email).

      Have a demonstration or several informal demos over a three-week period.

      White belts move to advanced class; new beginners class is formed.

February

      Have focused workout on improving a specific technique.

March

      Order uniforms.

April

      Spring gup testing session.

      Coordinate schedule for those on campus or in the local area over the summer.

      Officer elections held for next year.

      Ensure paperwork for club recognition is submitted (for the next year).

      Celebrate the Founding of Taekwon-Do (April 11, 1955).

May

      Have focused workout on improving a specific technique.

      Organize summer workouts.

      Ensure Dojang is scheduled for summer.

June

      Hang up informational posters in KU, PAC, and some buildings.  Get approved by Student Activities.

      Schedule any possible summer testing session.
