Chronology of the 

History of Science

            Welcome to the history of science chronology project by students from the University of Dayton. The Chronology Project initially began as a collection of encyclopedia style articles of the history of science. We are now moving on to collecting primary source documents for the web. All of the documents are from sources in the public domain. Many of the selections include introductory essays by the students. To view the documents click on the timeline link or proceed to the table below and choose blocks of years (check back, we are continuously adding new material). The students have done research using existing web pages and printed materials, including both primary and secondary sources.
