DEPARTMENT: Admission POSTING DATE: June 13, 2006 POSITION TITLE: Assistant Director of Admission (A) POSITION IS: Full time/12 months/35 hours per week HIRING RANGE: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience DATE AVAILABLE: July 2006
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Assistant Director of Admission will oversee and manage specific projects as assigned by the Director of Admission. Duties will include interviewing prospective students and reviewing college admission applications; extensive travel throughout the US; follow up communications to prospective students and families; creating and designing programs to meet enrollment goals; implementation of technology to help meet enrollment goals; and performing other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree required; minimum of five years experience in college admission, financial aid or student services. Technical skills and database management are essential along with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written. Must have a valid driver’s license and be available evenings and weekends. Familiarity with the University of Dayton and the Society of Mary will be favorably considered.
