DEPARTMENT: Facilities Management POSTING DATE: April 25, 2008 POSITION TITLE: Assistant Director Facilities Management –Residential Properties Maintenance Operations (B) POSITION IS: Full time/12 months/37.5 hours per week HIRING RANGE: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience DATE AVAILABLE: May 2008
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Assistant Director Facilities Management—Residential Properties Maintenance Operations is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising assigned functions of the Residential Maintenance staff to assure that required, requested, and planned repairs and other maintenance activities are properly accomplished in a timely and efficient manner.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Basic qualifications: Five years experience in similar work with at least three years at responsible supervisory and administrative level. Proficient knowledge of computer software including, but not limited to: MS Office 2003/2007 (Word, Excel, Access, etc.), Lotus Notes or knowledge of another email program. Ability to organize, prioritize and perform under pressure in both a public contact and internal administrative capacity. Valid driver’s license with less than six points.
Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
