POSITION TITLE: Assistant Coach Men’s Basketball (B)
POSITION IS: Full time/40 hours per week/12 months
HIRING RANGE: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
DATE AVAILABLE: June 2008
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
The assistant coach will assist the head coach in all facets of operating an accomplished Division I men’s basketball program. Duties include, but are not limited to, skills training and development, recruiting, practice and game plan preparation, administrative and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Multiple years of intercollegiate men’s basketball coaching experience; National and regional recruiting experience required, knowledge of NCAA rules and a commitment to adhering to institutional, conference and NCAA, policies, rules and regulations.
