DEPARTMENT: Facilities Planning and Construction Management POSTING DATE: February 21, 2008 POSITION TITLE: Architectural Design Support Specialist (B) POSITION IS: Full time/40 hours per week/12 months HIRING RANGE: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience DATE AVAILABLE: March 2008
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Architectural Design Support Specialist maintains and updates all campus drawing master files, archives, and drawing websites. Maintains space database and issues annual space audit. Provides computer support and advises training for Facilities Planning and Construction Management (FPCM). Reports to the Associate Director of FPCM.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Basic qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Graphic Design/Visual Arts or related field. Minimum three years experience, proficient knowledge of computer hardware/software including, but not limited to: AutoCAD/AutoDesk 2007 software including 3-D, MS Office 2007, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Photoshop, Flowcharting, Video, email and calendar software. Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills.
