These two pictures record what happens when a grand juror asks the witness a question. In the picture below, you can see the prosecutor and the court reporter listening intently to the question. The prosecutor may be deciding whether he should follow up on the grand jurors question to the witness, or make his own response to the grand jurors question after the witness has answered it. You can also see the court reporter listening intently, perhaps to be sure she gets the question recorded correctly. In the picture to the right, you can see the other grand jurors listening to the grand juror asking her question. They may be thinking that shes raised a good point, or they may disagree and ask their own questions in a few minutes. |
