Why EDT

This fraternity is unlike any other. You will find every kind of person here all brought together by a strong common interest in the field of engineering. This common interest brings an added sense of strength you cannot find anywhere else. We are constantly supporting each other and making sure that each of our brothers stays successful not only in his academic life, but also in his social life. This support system is what marks us above the rest. We excel academically and work hard to maintain an average GPA of 3.0 for the fraternity. We are a very multidisciplinary group with engineering majors across the board. We all take our academic lives very seriously and strive to be at the top of our classes... Living our lives by the philosophy, "ALL A's ALL THE TIME!!!!!"

Another important aspect of life for us is service. Every year we sponsor many charity events and give service where we can. A love for helping others is something we look for in our prospective brothers. A few such events are Ghettofest and CarSmash.

Above all else we hold the strength of brotherhood in high esteem. It takes unity, determination, and selfless service to be a brother. We do not just do work all the time, however. What is more fun than having a bunch of brothers get together and getting some games going. You can constantly find us either grilling out back and playing volleyball or having a night of fun with a poker tournament. So feel free to bring your friends along because the more the merrier.

As one can see we are a well rounded group of individuals with a strong bond in the roots of engineering but with so many varying personalities and talents. So please come along and find out how you can become involved with Epsilon Delta Tau!
