ACS Student Affiliates Group

The American Chemical Society Student Affiliate Group at the University of Dayton is a pre-professional organization that consists primarily of undergraduate chemistry and biochemistry majors. It provides students the opportunity to socialize with other students in their field and learn more about various programs at the University.  For more information, click here.

 

Senior Thesis Guidelines

The senior thesis is a mechanism for the Department of Chemistry to assist in the professional development and writing skills of each of its majors. The senior thesis must be an original single-authored manuscript.  Careful attention should be given to organization, neatness, spelling and grammar.

Co-op Report Guidelines

The final co-op report must be an original piece of writing that provides a detailed summary of the co-op experience while protecting the confidentiality of proprietary information. Your supervisor should approve the content of the report. The Chairperson of the Chemistry Department should approve the format of the report.  The University Co-op Office will not accept the report until these approvals have been obtained.

Requirements for a Minor in Chemistry:

CHM  123-123L, 124-124L, (302 or 303), plus

nine (9) additional semester hours (300- or 400-

level), in consultation with the Department Chair.
