Training Program

The University of Dayton Counseling Center has provided graduate students in psychology the opportunity to participate in a master's level training program and a pre-doctoral practicum program for several years. The Counseling Center staff is committed to providing education, training and supervision for future mental health professionals.

The program is directed toward graduate students in psychology. The program is open to students from the University of Dayton and other schools in the Dayton community. The program is run by the Coordinator of Training in consultation with the Counseling Center staff. All students are supervised by psychologists.

The position will be between 15 and 20 hours per week-- August   - May, usually with a stipend. The Counseling Center will consider up to 3 students for acceptance into the internship program per year.
