Big involvement is so important because every Little, matched or not needs a Big to pal around with. 

Some kids today are so enthralled with television and video games, they often forget or don't know how to have fun or appreciate the world in all that it has to offer.  The monthly activities provide the chance to get out of routines and do something fun.  In the past the monthly activities have included Ice Skating, Picnics, a Farm trip among other local attractions.

Check back often to find out what our next monthly adventure is.  *This is a great opportunity for "community matches" to meet a large portion of the monthly time commitment to their Little.

There's no need to panic, each month we reserve campus ministry vans to transport the Littles and ourselves on our adventure so there's never a need to drive your own car (unless you want to).

Due to the limited number of available seating in the van's it's important to let the monthly activities club chair know when you will be attending or not.  This also helps to keep the Little to Big ratio at a manageable level.

October Monthly

The learning tree farm.  Build a campfire, make s'mores, hike, pet some farm animals and decorate pumpkins.

November Monthly

Enjoy an afternoon at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery.  Look at dinosaur bones, planets and maybe you may be able to discover some buried fossils at the hands on portion of the museum.

December Monthly

Christmas on Campus.  Watch a child's eyes light up while strolling around campus and enjoying such things as hot chocolate, games, activities and maybe seeing Santa.
