You are cordially invited to participate in the 15th Annual UD ASCE Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 20, 2008, at Heatherwoode Golf Club in Springboro, Ohio. The tournament will begin at 8:00 am with a shotgun start and will be followed by lunch and an awards ceremony.
The fee to participate in this year’s tournament will be $100 per person, $180 per 2-person team, $270 per 3-person team, or $365 per 4-person team. This fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, driving range, chances at contest and door prizes, a donut breakfast, and a buffet lunch following the outing. To foster interaction between professionals and students, we are encouraging companies to register multiple 2- or 3-person teams to be joined by UD students.
We would like to thank the golfers and sponsors who have helped make our tournament a success in the past. Proceeds from the outing will help fund the UD ASCE Student Chapter’s events throughout the year. The ASCE student chapter is involved with many educational and service events to enhance our goals and better our community. Such events consist of: Habitat for Humanity, Tec-Fest, science fairs for elementary and high school students, Ohio Valley Regional Competition, National Steel Bridge Competition, and canned food drives.
