This year we want to coordinate an event that the whole campus can participate in. We also hope that the campus will be able to rally around our cause. We want to promote awareness about the genetic disorder, Cystic Fibrosis, and raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research. There is currently no cure for Cystic Fibrosis, and funding for research and medication for CF patients is desperately needed. We hope that this Carnival will be an effective, even if small step, towards aiding CF patients and creating a stronger sense of community in our own group and other groups on campus.

How other groups can get involved...
Send volunteers to help with set-up/clean-up and facilitation of the event
and/or have your organization sponsor a booth.
With sponsoring a booth an organization would take ownership of that booth and plan the game or event that is to go with it. There are some ideas included here. These are events that the Carnival committee would like to see at the Carnival, or we at least thought they would be fun to have. Of course, your organization can come up with an idea on their own too!The group is responsible for all the assets of the booth they will be sponsoring. For example, if the group chooses to do a duck pond, they are responsible for the ducks and the pond. The APO Carnival committee will be providing the prizes and booths. Be creative and have fun!

All proceeds from this Carnival go to the Boomer Esiason Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis Research.
