1, 2009 Chapter Notes:
-Tonight's chapter was a
combined brother/pledge meeting
-We took a picture tonight to capture our wonderful APO-ness! And Molly
Sandberg was here!
-J-Board met with brothers tonight (after chapter)
President

-Taylor, pledge class President, introduced himself
Service VP
Amanda
-Dance Marathon: you can come the day of and register
there (Sat. Nov. 7)
-Keep collecting children's books and bring them to 111 Evanston
-Make sure to sign up for service, because it's NATIONAL SERVICE WEEK! And
you can get a t-shirt cheaper if you do service any time this week
-Collect pop tabs; winner receives 15$ to Chipotle!
-Bethany, pledge class Service VP, introduced herself

-Look for when/where next brother dinner will be (taco
night!)
-Talking with Faisal to maybe have a Regionals dessert night
-Discussed a craft night where we could make tote bags w/ fabric letters and
hot chocolate
-Jackie, pledge class Fellowship VP, introduced herself and spoke about
Pledge Spirit Week: game night Nov. 9, pledge dinner at Milanos (7-9pm) Nov.
10, and movie night at the Hangar Nov. 11
Membership VP

-Pledge of the week decided after chapter-- will
announce next week
-Week of Nov. 8 is Pledge Spirit Week! Come to all of the events that you
can because it is a lot of fun (and a great opportunity to bond with your
Big/Little!)

-Get your dues paid, now it's an additional 5$
-Liz, pledge class Treasurer, introduced herself and announced that the next
round of pledge dues (40$) are due Nov. 8
Fundraising

-Redsfest (training Thursday Dec. 2, shifts on the
following Friday and Sat.) email Rachel if interested
-Sam, pledge class Fundraising VP, introduced herself and spoke about the
Dodgeball tournament Nov. 12: 20$ per team, need help with refereeing
