Welcome to the University of Dayton chapter of Amnesty International's website

Meeting every Tuesday at 8:00p.m. in the basement of Liberty Hall

Amnesty International is a worldwide, apolitical human rights organization. Our chapter works for awareness of human rights issues around the world and to involve the campus in today's human rights issues through promotion of civil and political rights, economic rights, and women's rights. We campaign to end the death penalty and write letters each week to governments in all regions of the world on behalf of prisoners of conscience--people who have been tortured and detained merely because of their ethnic background, sex, religion, or political belief.
