Alpha Phi's philanthropy is Cardiac Care. Alpha Phis across the United States and Canada participate in events around the year to raise money to support Cardiac Care.
Also, Alpha Phis raise money for the Alpha Phi Foundation. Alpha Phi is the only sorority that supports its own foundation, The Alpha Phi Foundation. The Alpha Phi Foundation was formed t support Alpha Phis and others in need and to express the philanthropic spirit of love and charity intended by the founders. The Foundation's mission is to fund programs that provide leadership and educational opportunities; encourage and recognize superior scholarship; support women's cardiac health; educate women about the value of philanthropy and assist members in need.
Alpha Phis of the Zeta Psi Chapter raise money for Cardiac Care and the Alpha Phi Foundation through the Mr. Alpha Phi Competition and the Red Dress Gala.
The Mr. Alpha Phi Competition usually happens in the Fall. Male UD students from all organizations sign up to participate and win the title of Mr. Alpha Phi. Contestants answer questions, present a talent, and try to win the hearts of the judges. Last year's top prize was a Dayton to Daytona trip!
The Red Dress Gala usually happens in the Spring. The Red Dress Gala is a more formal affair in which parents, Alpha Phi Alumni, and others are invited to attend a classy silent auction. The Red Dress Gala is a great way to raise money for our Philanthropy and to get our parents involved in our sorority.

Alpha Phi also supports other Sorority and Fraternity's philanthropy events such as the Zeta Tau Alpha Free Fall, the Chi Omega Corn Hole Tournament, Sigma Chi's Derby Days, and the Phi Psi 500.
