ONLINE DRIVER'S TRAINING

Criteria

EHS/RM is pleased to offer the driver's training certification process online as a substitute for attending a "live" session.

Any individual who wishes to drive a University vehicle (owned, rented, golf cart) is required to be insured under the University insurance policy and must take this training.

Training Requirements

University employees and students who wish to take driver's training online must complete the following requirements:

1.  Read University of Dayton Vehicle Use Policy and sign and submit corresponding Statement of Agreement

2.  Watch training slide show presentation (15 minutes)

3.  Submit contact and license information

4.  Take test

Any individual who does not complete any of these four requirements will not be allowed to operate a University owned vehicle.

Validation

Once you complete the training session and submit the test, your information is automatically forwarded to EHS/RM.  EHS/RM will run your motor vehicle report which can take up to 5 days to receive.  Coverage may be denied if the motor vehicle report shows an invalid or high risk driving record.

Unless you are notified by our office you will be added to the University's insurance coverage and are permitted to drive.
