ONLINE TRAINING
-
The University of Dayton requires that certain facility, staff and students be specifically trained before being authorized to perform certain tasks on campus.
-
Depending on the task, initial in class training and/or demonstration may be required. See the classroom training schedule or complete an online training form to request in class training for a group or individual. For more information read about the training requirements under each program category.
-
Much of the general and refresher training can be accessed and completed online. For documentation or insurance purposes, online training must be documented. Generally, this is accomplished via a quiz that is submitted following the online presentation.
-
The following is a listing of online training offered by the Environmental Health & Safety/Risk Management Office. Click on the link to review the requirements and access the presentation and associated quiz.
-
Please note that some web browsers and/or operating systems have difficulty playing online training presentations. View this troubleshooting guide if you encounter problems while trying to view a presentation online.

Federal and state laws and University of Dayton policy require all workers to receive applicable safety training and be informed of potential health and safety risks that may be present in their workplace. Documentation must be maintained to demonstrate that such training was provided and received. In order to assist laboratory personnel in complying with this requirement, laboratory safety training must be obtained either through EHS/RM classroom or web-based sessions or documented as having been received from an alternative source.
