A safe place to pray
Father Chris Wittmann, S.M., blesses Our Lady of the Pillar Chapel, located in renovated space in Marycrest 2 middle. The name of the chapel connects Marycrest to the cathedral in Zaragoza, Spain, where the Blessed William Joseph Chaminade heard the call to return to France and start the Society of Mary. Wittmann choked up as he described the conditions endured by Chaminade and others who celebrated Mass in interior rooms of homes under penalty of death during the French Revolution.
