Knowing
and Loving the Rosary
The
Rosary Year is a time to deepen our knowledge about the rosary in order to
increase our love for this age-old prayer and summary of our faith.
Rosary Markings of this week offers a bibliography on the rosary to help
our readers on their journey to rediscover or deepen their understanding
and love of the rosary. The following list includes most recent
publications on the rosary, but also classics such as R. Guardini's
writing on the rosary and Ward's "Five for Sorrow, Ten for
Joy." You will find in the same list papal pronouncements and
meditations on the rosary from Leo XIII to John Paul II. Some of the
publications will help different groups of people to make good use of this
form of prayer. In turn, this bibliography offers evidence on a wide
variety of topics, from the history about the rosary to meditations with
the rosary. The books are presented in alphabetical order according
to authors. Not all of these publications are of equal value.
