Nuestra Seňora de la Paz—The image of Our Lady of Peace depicts Mary holding the child Jesus in her left and a scepter made of an olive branch in her right hand. It is venerated in St. Michael’s Church in the country’s capitol San Salvador and was crowned by a papal delegate on November 21, 1921. |
