Death of a Friend by Virginia M. Kimball, S.T.D.
Her death came at three o'clock
Her bed was transitory
When a saint passes,
A gift for Lent this death
She lingers in our memory,
She weaves hope and joy
Death is a sleep in her
She begged her Mother
A rosary in frail bruised hand
Glory in a Lenten lesson
I'll always remember Jean May her memory be eternal! |
