Ludzmierz Bell (Ludźmierski Zwon)
[Original written in Polish by Stanislawa Szewczyk, Translated by Danuta Romanowska]

Do you hear?
The Ludzmierz Bell is ringing.
Is it for some alarm?
No, he rings
Because he has a feeling;
He knows very well what worries us,
What lies in our hearts,
Since he has lived with us so many years.
When we are without hope,
When we are so full of pain
Also his heart bursts with grief.

He calls throughout the whole area
And calls to whomever he can:
Come to the Holy Mother in Ludzmierz;
She will help you.

Słysycie?
Ludźmierski bije zwon.
Cyby na jakom trwoge?
E, kazby tam -
bije, bo on jako i my cuje
Wiy dobrze co nos tropi,
co lezy nom na sercu
bo przecie tele roki
z nami zyje
kie nima w nos nadzieje,
kie my pełni bólu
to i jego serce
o mało nie puknie
od zolu
I woło po całej dziedzinie
I woło kielo ino moze
Przydź do Matecki Ludźmierskiej
Ona ci pomoze
