Christ's Birth
[Original written in Polish by Wladyslava Anna Jamroz, Translated by Danuta Romanowska]

You, Jesus,
Are not always welcome
In many mangers
There is even a shortage of hay
The inn is full
Overnight accommodations are refused
A poor but hospitable stable
Will be found

Shepherds will come
Leaving behind their flock
Kings will notice Your birthday
From the stars
Herod will be furious
Afraid of your power
And YOU
Come silently humble small
And bring
The biggest LOVE
Eternal
Which shall not draw back
From the sacrifice of the Cross.
